I also feel that the first midterm was unnecessarily difficult. I feel that this class should not be one that I devote a large portion of my time to, seeing as it is a required course. I would much rather spend that chunk of time studying for Organic Chemistry, or some other upper division course that I am taking on behalf of my major.

Now don't get me wrong, I do all the readings and attend all of the lectures, and actively participate in my discussion, but I felt that your questions were too obscure. I felt that you looked through our assigned readings, and picked up random obscure facts that the majority of us would have dismissed as relatively unimportant compared to all of the other material presented.

I really hope that you take our opinions into consideration for the final. Thank you.

...or did the multiple choice seem even MORE obscure than last time? I did a lot of studying for the final and found the short answer and essay to be easy, but the multiple choice just seemed ridiculous. I don't know though, maybe it was just me.

I am wondering if there will be passage ID on the final. I'm asking you not to do this because for me it is hard to identify where a quote or passage comes from when I am trying to understand the "whole picture" if you do not put passage ID on the final I know it will make everyone's lives a lot easier!!!
